Mahomes will not suit up tonight in Seattle
Andy Reid has announced we will not see starters in this matchup, despite them trotting out there for a bit last week. The opposite is true for Seattle. Sam Darnold didn’t take a snap last game, but he is set to start this one. Whether we see him for more than a couple drives is still up for debate, but regardless, we are going to see Seattle’s first team offense against the Chiefs entire defense.

I’ll be targeting the first half in this matchup. Partially because I don’t want to stay up late to watch (even if my team is playing), partially because we know the Seahawks will have their top guys out for a little bit. I do have faith in Gardner Minshew to move the ball, but not against a first team defense in the NFL.
He is still a back up for a reason.

Chiefs vs. Seahawks NFL Prediction: Seahawks Win, Over 39.5
Best Bet: Seattle 1H -2 (-110) BetOnline
Back the Seahawks in the first half. And then go to bed (or go out) at a reasonable hour. Gardner Minshew will start this game for Kansas City and see more time than he did last week, but it might not be more than a quarter. If that is the case they’ll turn the keys over to Bailey Zappe, who didn’t put up any points last week.
As for Seattle, we will get the first taste of Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba on the field at the same time. I think they are in for a big year, I am very high on Seattle overall, and I think they’ll be able to open the scoring early and often.
Once Drew Lock is back under center, we will just hope they’ve built a big enough cushion to hold onto until halftime. Get it, get out, and back the Seahawks in the first half tonight.
