Analysis & Breakdown

New York Football Giants
The Giants are 2-4 on the season but 2-2 with Jaxson Dart under center. The rookie QB has looked good through his first four games, throwing seven total touchdowns and three interceptions. Dart’s coming off a 283 yard, three touchdown performance but somehow still off of a loss.
New York went into the fourth quarter of their matchup with the Broncos up 19 points, having shutout the Broncos through the first three quarters. Poor coaching, conservative play calling and two missed extra points caused one of the ugliest collapses I’ve ever witnessed. . They gave up 33 points in the fourth quarter and lost this game by a single point.

Revenge in North Philly
The Eagles got beat down by the Giants two weeks ago. They walked into MetLife on Primetime thinking they had an easy win, but walked out after a a 34-17 beatdown and just their second loss of the year. The Eagles offense struggled to get anything going in that game, finishing with just 73 total yards on the ground and just two offensive touchdowns.
Hurts was okay, throwing for 283 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Barkley struggled in his return to MetLife, finishing with just 67 total yards from scrimmage and no scores. Philly sits at 5-2 this year after their win last week against the Vikings, but this team doesn’t feel as good as it did last year.
This year the Eagles rank 14th in points, 29th in first downs, 27th in third down conversion rate, 22nd in pass yards and 30th in rush yards. The biggest surprise to me was the fact the Eagles are averaging just 88.1 rush yards per game. Philly ranks 18th in run block grade and the changes up front this year have been causing a majority of their issues.
The Eagles interior offensive line has not been good this year. Over 40% of the sacks allowed by this offensive line have come from the interior. The Giants have one of the scariest defensive lines in all of football and it’s why they’re able to compete every single week. The interior of their defensive line consists of rookie Abdul Carter and Dexter Lawrence; two of the highest graded defensive lineman in the league this year.
Sunday’s Best Bets
Jalen Hurts o30.5 Rushing Yards (-110) | BetOnline

Jalen Hurts has not been running the ball over the last three weeks and it feels like a big reason why this Philly offense has stalled at times. They currently rank 30th in rush yards per game and a lot of it is because Hurts has recorded just six total yards on the ground. Last week, Hurts was actually held to -10 yards on the ground against the Vikings.
The Giants rank 25th in rush yards allowed this year and 29th in rush yards allowed to QBs. Hurts has cleared this line in eight of his L10 home games, averaging 43.7 rush yards per game and 9.4 rush attempts per game. He’s also cleared this line in two of his three home games this year, finishing with 40+ rush yards in those two games.
In their Week 6 matchup, Hurts ran the ball just seven times for 13 yards and was sacked three times. Over the last three weeks, Hurts has been sacked 12 times. In his first four games of the year, Hurts was sacked just nine total times and a lot of that was because he was just more mobile in the pocket. Hurts hit his rush line in three of those four games and Philly won all four.
Hurts is more than capable of using his arm to win games, but eliminating his rushing ability only serves to slow the Eagles offense down. Look for him to have more of an impact this week in front of the home crowd.
