The Kansas City Chiefs host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and Patrick Mahomes will be missing a key weapon.
Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco was ruled out of this contest with a shoulder injury, so Clyde Edwards-Helaire will start in his place, with Jerick McKinnon sharing the back field.
The Bills have won the past two regular season matchups, both of them being at Arrowhead, while the Chiefs have won the games that mattered.
Allen is still trying to will his team into the playoffs for the 5th straight season.
Can he pull of the road upset yet again? Or will Mahomes and the Chiefs finally take down the Bills in the regular season?

During the Mahomes Era, the Chiefs are 15-3 following a loss, and haven’t lost back to back games since Week 3 of 2021. They were arguably a bad call away from winning on Sunday Night, but regardless, Andy Reid will have his team ready.
The Bills lost a heartbreaker to the Eagles on Sunday in Overtime, moving their road record to just 1-4 on the season. They’ve lost those games by a combined 21 points, losing all 5 of their games this season by just 23 total points.
To me, it seems as though the Bills will sneak their way into the playoffs yet again, and it probably starts with a “We’re Still Here” victory over the Chiefs on Sunday.
BUT….
You wouldn’t dare catch me doing that.
So far this season, the Chiefs have been the far more complete team.
We’re getting them at a discount, and even without Pacheco, CEH and McKinnon will be utilized to their fullest through Andy Reid’s schemes and Mahomes’ playmaking ability.
Yes, it is a homer pick. But if you don’t think I’m taking the Chiefs over anybody (Maybe not the Niners) as a near pick ‘em at Arrowhead, then you really don’t know Shaggy Bets.

Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 INT (-110) Bovada
As a Chiefs fan, this one hurt to place. But I think Mahomes is going to be slinging it in this game, and with the amount of drops we’ve seen, one is bound to end up in the wrong hands.
Mahomes has thrown 10 interceptions this year, throwing one in 8/12 games this season.
He’s also thrown one in 4/6 home games, including his last home game, and on Sunday in GB.
What stands out to me, is the fact that he’s thrown 2 INTs in each of his L2 Regular Season Home Games against Buffalo. Now the Chiefs lost both of those, and I think they win, however, without a solidified run game, I think KC relies on Mahomes’ arm to get them a win.
Buffalo forces 1 pick per game this season, and they’ve gotten one in each of their L2 games.
Even with a beat up secondary, the Bills have the tools to force Mahomes into mistakes, and I think he makes one on Sunday.
