Syracuse Orange vs. #7 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets NCAA Football Player Props

Back Haynes King to lead the Yellow Jackets to victory with his legs - NCAA Football Player Props

Back Haynes King to lead the Yellow Jackets to victory with his legs

Best Bet: Haynes King (GT) Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (-122) BetOnline

Get a much better number than I did, as King’s line is all the way down to 70.5. Georgia Tech is cruising their way through a perfect season so far, and I think they keep it going on the legs of their quarterback. When the Yellow Jackets offense is producing at a high level, this guy has success running the ball.

He’s going for over 5.6 yards per carry this season, leading the team in carries (by 20), rushing yards (by 150) and rushing touchdowns (by 4). Georgia Tech runs the ball over 60% of the time, and Syracuse won’t be able to stop them. The Orange rank north of 100 in yards per rush allowed, giving up 4.8 yards per carry. Plus, they gave up over six yards per rush to Tennessee, Clemson, and Duke. Georgia Tech has a better rushing attack than all of those schools.

King has ran for triple digits in 4/6 games this year and has a 17 yard rush in all six contests. He should have no problem clearing your number of 70.5, or my own of 79.5, as I see him going for over 100 once again.

Kansas State Wildcats vs. Kansas Jayhawks NCAA Football Player Props

Can Avery Johnson run his Wildcats to a victory in the Sunflower Showdown? NCAA Football Player Props

Can Avery Johnson run his Wildcats to a victory in the Sunflower Showdown?

Best Bet: Avery Johnson (KSU) Over 39.5 Rushing Yards (-132) BetOnline

Now, I do have a pick on the side of the Sunflower Showdown, so check out my full preview, however, I’m backing Johnson’s legs. He’s been using them a lot more recently, and I think everyone has realized the Wildcat’s offense is better when he has the freedom to run and make plays. He is No. 2 on the team in carries and rushing yards, with double digit carries in three straight games.

Over his last three, Johnson has averaged 11.7 carries for 58.7 rushing yards, plus he’s taking less than one sack per game. Johnson has gone for 70+ yards twice, and has ran for 49 yards per game in the Wildcat’s three wins. That number jumps up to 54.75 if you include the loss to Baylor which they should’ve won (led by 14 going into fourth quarter).

Now, the Jayhawks ground defense needs some work. They are bottom 10 in yards per carry allowed, giving up 5.4 each time opponents run the rock. They have struggled to contain the couple of mobile QBs they have seen, as Brendan Sorsby went for 13-52, and Will Hammond had 8-61-2 with a 20 yard rush and over 7.5 per carry.

Last year, Avery Johnson had 14 carries for 67 yards and touchdown against the Jayhawks with only two sacks. He will need to run the ball if K-State wants to pull off this upset on the road.

#15 Missouri Tigers vs. #10 Vanderbilt Commodores NCAA Football Player Props

Beau Pribula uses his legs when the Tigers need it most - NCAA Football Player Props

Beau Pribula uses his legs when the Tigers need it most

Best Bet: Beau Pribula Over 25.5 Rushing Yards (-115) BetOnline

Beau Pribula has cleared this line in four of seven games this year, and has done so against three straight teams with a pulse. The Missouri quarterback had 28 rushing yards against Auburn, 61 against Alabama, and 72 against South Carolina. All the attention from Vanderbilt’s lackluster rushing defense will be on stopping Ahmad Hardy. Selling out on the Missouri running back (because you have to) opens things up for the quarterback to take off.

Pribula has cleared in all three games where he has at least 10 carries, running 27 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns in his last two outings. He has found a 12 yard rush in six of seven games and a 20 yard rush in three separate contests as well. Vandy couldn’t contain Kyron Drones or Bryson Barnes, who both had double digit carries for a minimum of 36 yards and at least an 18 yard rush.

With Hardy taking all the attention, Pribula will be able to find his way forward for some huge runs.
