Balyor Bears vs. #17 SMU Mustangs NCAA Football Player Props

Can Jennings lead the Mustangs over the Bears in Week 2?
Best Bet: Kevin Jennings (SMU) Over 22.5 Rushing Yards (-115) BetOnline
Not only are we getting the best line on the market from Kevin Jennings, but we also get to face a terrible rushing defense at home. Jennings is a dual threat QB for the Mustangs who had 354 rushing yards for the team last season, and added 12 in their Week 1 win. Now, he only had six carries, but I expect the Ponies to have to rely on their playmaker QB to extend some plays and get creative against Baylor, something he didn’t have to do last week.
Baylor had a very tough time stopping the run against Auburn at home, and I see them struggling against an even better running quarterback on the road today. Jackson Arnold led the Tigers with 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 16 carries. They sacked him just one time as well, so I’m not worried about Jennings going down for losses of chunk yardage.
The shifty QB should be able to move out of he pocket and extend the drive. For an extensive breakdown of this game and a pick on the side, check out my full preview below.
#15 Michigan vs. #18 Oklahoma NCAA Football Player Props

Haynes had over 150 rushing yards last week against New Mexico
Best Bet: Justice Haynes (MICH) Over 66.5 Rushing Yards (-114) BetOnline
Bryce Underwood looked pretty good in Michigan’s opener over New Mexico. But it was against New Mexico. What can we really take away from that game? Now he goes on the road to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Sooners who want nothing more than to rip his head off. Michigan will also be without their stud LB for the first half of this matchup, so they’ll certainly need to be more cautious in the first couple of quarters.
How do you keep an opposing team’s offense off the field? Long, meticulous drives where you pound the rock. I see the Wolverines starting this game exactly like this in order to keep John Mateer and the Sooners on the sideline.
Alabama transfer Justice Haynes had 16 carries for 159 yards last week against the Lobos at home. Look for him to get his number called early and often in this contest for a variety of reasons.
First off, you gotta establish the run, especially against a defense like the Sooners on the road. It will open things up through the air later. Second, you are outmanned in the first half. You’ve got to chew some clock, string together some long drives, and limit the Sooner’s time of possession early on. Lastly, the guy is just a stud. This is someone you hand the ball off to at least 15 times per game and just let him go.
His last two years in the SEC, Haynes ran for 6.7 and 5.7 yards per carry. This year he is already out to a blistering 9.9 yards per rush so far this season, and while that will slow down a tad, I see him cleared 70+ yards for us tonight, simply because of the volume the guy is going to see.
Best NCAA Football Week 2 Player Props
Kevin Jennings (SMU) Over 22.5 Rushing Yards (-115
Baylor failed to contain a mobile QB on the road in their opener. As they scramble to regroup on the road against an In-State rival, I do not see them getting the job done. Jennings did not have to run much in their Week 1 victory, but look for him to extend plays this weekend.
Justice Haynes (MICH) Over 66.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Haynes broke off for over 150 rushing yards last week, running for nearly 10 per carry. Look for the Wolverines to hand him the ball plenty in order to take some pressure off of freshman QB Bryce Underwood on the road. Against Oklahoma’s defense, establishing the run will be crucial for setting up the passing game in the second half and keeping John Mateer and company off the field for as long as possible.
