Best NCAA Football Week 14 Player Props: Found Another Under

Let’s get right into our favorite NCAA Football Player Props for Saturday’s action. We had plenty of exciting games on Friday, but there are still tons of rivalries to settle and player performances to bet on this weekend. After starting off hot with the prop bets, we have certainly cooled off, and even find ourselves in a bit of a deficit. But it’s nothing a quick little two unit cash couldn’t solve for us, and luckily we found one of those for Saturday.

Let’s get back to the green.

#1 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. #15 Michigan Wolverines NCAA Football Player Props

Jordan Marshall runs for over 6.1 yards per carry, but has yet to face a defense like Ohio State's - NCAA Football Player Props

Jordan Marshall runs for over 6.1 yards per carry, but has yet to face a defense like Ohio State’s

Best Bet: Jordan Marshall (MICH) Under 99.5 Rushing Yards (-115) BetOnline

Now, I might have found a line discrepancy. I booked this for two units at under 99.5, while some books had this listed at 83.5. That’s a big enough difference for me to unload. If you can only find 83.5, that’s fine, but I would only go a single unit on it.

Marshall has taken over as running back for the Michigan Wolverines, but he was held out of the last game with an injury. Therefore, he might be a little banged up. One wrong hit could knock him out of the game and really make our under a no sweat. However, this guy is electric. He runs for over 6.1 yards per carry and has cleared this line in his last four games, going for at least 110 yards in each.

But he faces Ohio State. The Buckeyes rank No. 3 in the nation in both yards per carry and rushing yards per game allowed, giving up 2.6 per touch and just 78.6 to a team the entire game. There’s no way Marshall breaks 80. The most they’ve given up to a single rusher was 80 yards to Quintrevion Wisner of Texas in Week 1. No one else has come close since.

Michigan will need to throw the ball anyways, so I do not see Marshall getting the required 18-20 carries to clear this number. This is my second 2u player prop of the season. We hit our other this year and we are 8-2 on 2u player props all time. Plus, we are now 8-0 when betting a college football player prop under. Let’s get another early on Saturday.

UCF Golden Knights vs. #11 BYU Cougars NCAA Football Player Props

Bear Bachmeier and BYU need a convincing win this weekend - NCAA Football Player Props

Bear Bachmeier and BYU need a convincing win this weekend

Best Bet: Bear Bachmeier (BYU) Over 52.5 Rushing Yards BetOnline

We are backing a familiar face to clear his line. Now, he’s only done so in four games this year, but maybe that begs the question… why is his line this high? Well, Bear Bachmeier is BYU’s second leading rusher in carries and rushing yards. He’s running for an average of 11.7 carries for 47.7 yards, but the Golden Knights defense has struggled to contain quarterbacks.

Bachmeier has had double digit runs in all but two games, including eight straight, so the volume shouldn’t be a problem. The visitors are giving up over 4.2 yards per rush, ranking outside the top 50 and are No. 69 in rushing yards allowed per game as well. BYU already runs the ball a ton, and this guy will have plenty of designed runs.

Quarterbacks Against UCF

  • Avery Johnson: 12-75, Long 20
  • Jalon Daniels: 10-25, Long 11
  • Brendan Sorsby: 8-36, Long 16
  • Sawyer Robertson: 16 yard rush
  • Connor Weigman: 22-82, Long 19

While only one QB has cleared this line, none of those guys run as much as Bachmeier. In a game at home that doesn’t matter for the visitors but means everything to the hosts, I trust the team leader to do anything he can to will this team to a win (and cover to impress the committee).
