Once again, we are back for some NCAA Football Player Props. Although the past couple of weeks haven’t gone our way, we are still digging into the slate, as player props have kept us afloat this season. Let’s check out what our college football sickos found on the gridiron for Week 10. We got real gritty and found ourselves a “non Power Four” player prop as well for the kiddos, betting on a name that is already well-known if you’ve been paying attention all year long. Should go well.
So far this season we’ve had a little bit of success, but let’s try to build on it.

Navy Midshipmen vs. North Texas Mean Green NCAA Football Player Props

Drew Mestemaker has been absolutely slinging the pill for the Mean Green this season
Best Bet: Drew Mestemaker (UNT) Over 291.5 Passing Yards (-115) BetOnline
If you haven’t heard of this kid yet, it’s about time you learn. Drew Mestemaker is No. 2 in the nation in passing yards this season, only trailing Sawyer Robertson. It helps that he is coming off a game with 608 passing yards against Charlotte, and will have an extra day of rest before facing Navy. Now, Mestemaker has only cleared this number three times this year, but he’s thrown for well over 300 yards in all of those contests.
Navy is undefeated, but they are on the road and bound to slip up, and their secondary isn’t all that great. Navy is bottom 35 in yards allowed per pass (7.9) and bottom 20 in passing yards allowed per game, giving up 266.5 to opposing teams. Mestemaker averages 308.5 passing yards per game already, completing 68.2% of his passes along the way. North Texas is a team that loves to pass, ranking top 25 in pass play percentage, dropping back over 54% of the time while staying very efficient, going for nearly 8.5 yards per pass (No. 22 in the country).
Quarterbacks have had plenty of success against Navy, especially recently.
- Jalen Kitna (UAB): 304 passing yards
- Liam Szarka (Air Force): 212 passing yards on just 11 completions
- Evan Simon (Temple): 345 passing yards
- Caden Veltkamp (FAU): 299 passing yards
It should be no different for Mestemaker this Saturday at home.
#2 Indiana Hoosiers vs. Maryland Terrapins NCAA Football Player Props

Fernando Mendoza has thrown an interception in both games away from home against top 20 secondaries
Best Bet: Fernando Mendoza (IND) Over 0.5 Interception (+100) BetOnline
Is this my smartest wager ever? Absolutely not, neither is my other pick in this contest, but sometimes you have got to trust your gut and follow a hunch, and that’s exactly what we are doing.
The Heisman favorite has been rock solid all year long for the Hoosiers, but he will be in a tough road environment this weekend against Maryland, and the Terps defense is not as bad as one might think. For starters, they lead the nation in interceptions this year, picking off 2.5 passes per home game this season. The secondary also ranks No. 17 in yards per pass allowed, so they are one of the top units in the country.
Mendoza has been picked off three times, once last week against UCLA, and once in both of his other road games this year. Perhaps he keeps it going with another pick away from home? The Hawkeyes’ defense is top 10 in both yards per pass allowed and opponent interceptions thrown, while the Ducks’ unit is in the top five in both categories. And both forced Mendoza into a mistake.
I think the Terps are capable of doing that as well, on their way to making Hoosier’s fans sweat the entire game.
