Syracuse Orange vs. #24 Tennessee Volunteers NCAA Football Player Props

DeSean Bishop is the lead back in Knoxville this season
Best Bet: DeSean Bishop (TENN) Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-115) BetOnline
DeSean Bishop was the RB2 for the Volunteers last season behind Dylan Sampson. The head RB had a huge year, going for nearly 1,500 rushing yards with 22 touchdowns, but that didn’t stop Bishop from getting his own. He had 74 carries for 455 yards last season with less touches than Tennessee’s quarterback.
This season, Bishop is ready to be the guy for the Volunteers.
With a new quarterback, I expect Josh Heupel to use his veteran RB to take some pressure off of Joey Aguliar early. Sure, the Vols only return their LT on the offensive line, but they have some key transfers come in as interior linemen. Wendell Moe was All-Big 12 at Arizona last season, and Sam Pendleton comes over from Notre Dame, also known as Offensive Lineman University. Both big guys have been in Knoxville since January and should be good to go for the season.
Bishop led the Vols with 6.1 yards per carry last season and had a 10+ yard rush in 7/10 contests. He goes up against Syracuse whose rushing defense ranked No. 82 in rushing yards allowed last year, giving up over 160 per game. The Cuse also ranked No. 117 in yards allowed per carry, letting opponents go for 5.3 yards per rush.
Not only is this line priced around 72.5 elsewhere in the market, but Bishop should see more than enough carries to go over this number as the Volunteers should lead most of the game and look to cover the spread.

Northwestern vs. Tulane NCAA Football Player Props

Omari Hayes lead FAU in receiving yards last season
Best Bet: Omari Hayes (Tulane) Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-110) BetOnline
We are backing a transfer in his first game at a new school with a new QB. But he’s proven himself and fits this system perfectly.
Hayes comes over from Florida Atlantic where he had 39 catches for 590 yards last season. He cleared 40+ receiving yards in 7/10 games last year, including five of his last six down the stretch, doing so in as little as one catch. Now, he’s not just a deep threat, as he will line up as the Green Wave’s main slot receiver.
The Green Wave’s offense ranked top 10 last season in yards per pass, and with Jake Retzlaff at QB, Hayes will benefit from a competent quarterback. Shazz Preston will demand tons of attention over the top, opening things up for Hayes over the middle. If you give this guy some space, he will make you pay, as he is a prolific return man as well.
I expect Tulane to call his number early, letting him use his legs to get open and gain some extra yards after the catch.
#6 Notre Dame vs. #10 Miami NCAA Football Player Props

Jeremiyah Love will run all over Miami on Sunday Night
Best Bet: Jeremiyah Love 70+ Rushing Yards + Anytime Touchdown (+105) BetOnline
Look, this guy is -220 to get into the end zone. He’s going to do it. So pair his ATD and water down his rushing yards to get plus money. This is a Heisman candidate who did crazy things last season.
Now, I am on the Irish in this game, which you can read about here. But one of the main reasons is because they return nearly everyone offensively. Sure, they have a rookie QB, but that’s even more reason to pound the rock, hand it off to your Heisman caliber running back, and take pressure off the young guy.
Love was injured in the National Championship, but ran for 1,125 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, scoring in every game but the CFP Quarterfinal against Georgia. He cleared this line in 8/15 games, going for triple digits in five contests as well.
Notre Dame returns the same offensive line he was running behind last year, where he went for nearly seven yards per rush. As a team, the Irish were No. 4 in the nation, running for 5.7 yards per carry and also ranked in the top 20 in rushing yards per game with over 200 as a team.
I am big on Notre Dame this season, and especially on Sunday in Miami, and that all starts with their stud running back doing what he does best: running all over the opposing defense and finding the promised land.
