They’ve covered in three straight as well, after Louisville failed to cover the 18.5 at home last Saturday. The Canes have even covered 4 of their L5, but they are 1-4 ATS off a win this season. On the road in Pittsburgh is a very tough place to play.
Miami’s offense has been keeping them in the games, as their defense is bottom 25 overall, bottom 5 in eFG% and bottom 40 in TO Rate as well. The offense shoots good from close range, but they do not get to the free throw line or dominate from downtown, both of which they will need to do to keep up in this matchup. On the road they are also 330th in offensive rebounding, so I think the Panthers can hold them in check today.

Pittsburgh boasts a Top 40 offense that shoots well, takes care of the ball, and is even better in their own gym. The Panthers jump to 21st in offensive efficiency, 14th in eFG% and 32nd at taking care of the ball at home this year. They speed things up, jumping from 207th to 153rd in pace, daring teams to keep up with their offense that shoots over 39% from deep, and lets it fly from downtown almost 43% of the time.
Tonight I see tired Miami legs finally giving out against a very efficient offense at home that DESPERATELY needs a win.
