It’s the day before Thanksgiving of Feast Week which can only mean a couple of things. We get to pig out on great food tomorrow surrounded by family, and there’s a bunch of tournament championships on the college hardwood tonight. Let’s get right into our favorite NCAA Basketball picks for Wednesday.

Best NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions November 26

Let’s rapid fire through my favorite bets for today, but be sure to check out all of our college hoops picks here.

Wofford Terriers vs. Northern Kentucky Norse Picks NCAA Basketball Picks

Best Bet: Wofford +3.5 (-110) BetOnline

All our advanced analytic friends love the Terriers and so do I, even though I liked them at +5.5 last night before I went to bed. Wofford is great at keeping teams off the line, ranking top 50 in free throw rate defense, and they are in the top half of most offensive categories. Northern Kentucky is No. 343 in FT Rate and are No. 283 in overall offensive efficiency.

Both teams plays slow, so expect a low number of trips up and down the floor. The Terriers can keep this within a single score.

Best Bet: Eastern Michigan Team Total Under 61.5 (-110) BetOnline

The Bearcats bleed defense. They play very fast, but so does Louisville, and they were able to hold this Eagles team to just 46 total points. Eastern Michigan is very slow, ranking north of 230 in pace and they don’t really have an offense at all.

The Eagles are No. 347 in 3P Rate and No. 305 in FT Rate, so they don’t take any threes or get to the stripe. Plus, they are No. 273 in both eFG% and adjusted offensive efficiency. All they do is shoot twos, but they don’t do so very well, ranking No. 268 in 2P% offense. Cincy’s defense is extremely good.

The Bearcats are No. 10 in 2P% defense and No. 7 in overall efficiency. Cincinnati is top 25 in eFG% defense, TO Rate and are top 50 in defensive rebounds. Plus they are top 100 in FT Rate defense as well. EMU shot less than 30% against the Cardinals and 13% from deep. It shouldn’t be any different tonight.

Best Bet: Wichita State +10.5 (-112) BetOnline

The Shockers are 5-0 against the spread this season, and we’ve bet the last four. Why would we stop now? They face the Gaels in the Bahamas on a neutral site in what should be a low scoring game. Wichita State can keep it within double digits.

The Gaels are very efficient on both sides of the ball, but they are bottom 10 in pace. They play incredibly slow, and struggle to force turnovers while the Shockers are great at taking care of the ball. This should translate to a decent look at the hoop each time down the floor for the Shocks. We should have less than 70 possessions in this game by a good amount, which won’t give the Gaels much room for error if they want to cover this number.

CS Northridge Matadors vs. Idaho Vandals NCAA Basketball Picks

Best Bet: CS Northridge +1.5 (-105) BetOnline

I actually took the ML for even money as I think the Matadors can win this game outright. Idaho is very slow, and terrible defensively, which is a bad combination when facing CS-Northridge who loves to run. The Vandals are north of 300 in 2P% Defense, FT Rate defense and turnovers forced. Plus they are north of 280 in overall defensive efficiency. The one thing they do well is crash the glass (but not on offense).

Idaho is also top 50 in 3P rate, but they don’t make very many, so it’s usually a waste of a possession. Northridge is very good at rebounding, ranking top 70 on both sides of the ball. They also attack the paint and play very, very fast. Idaho struggles to defend the rim and I think the Matadors can take advantage on the court tonight.
