Tennessee is riding high after a thrilling buzzer-beater win over Alabama, but now they face a quick turnaround on the road against Ole Miss. The Rebels have been tough at home all season, boasting a strong defense and an up-tempo style that could give the Volunteers trouble. With Tennessee’s road offense struggling in SEC play, this matchup sets up as a prime spot for the home underdog.

#4 Tennessee vs Ole Miss Best Bet
Coming off their buzzer-beater win over Alabama on Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers hit the road to take on the Ole Miss Rebels. An emotional victory in dramatic fashion comes with a price in my book. The law states this is the equivalent of storming the court, so I have to fade Tennessee in this spot.

This is only the second time this season that Ole Miss has been a home underdog. The lone instance was against No. Auburn on February first, where they lost 92-82 as 5.5-point underdogs. Now, they find themselves as short dogs in their home gym on Senior Night, coming off a narrow win over Oklahoma on Saturday.
At home this season, the Rebels have maintained a top-100 offense, complemented by a top-30 defense. They excel at forcing turnovers, protecting the basketball, and blocking shots—ranking top 20 in both categories. This top-100 offense now faces the second-best road defense in the country. Fortunately for them, Tennessee’s road offense has struggled during SEC play.
The Volunteers have the third-worst road offense in the SEC. They turn the ball over at a high rate and struggle both inside and from deep. Ole Miss will force the pace with its top-75 tempo. If Tennessee’s offense does not show up tonight in Oxford, they will not be able to keep up.
With the emotional win over Alabama and a quick turnaround on the road, I think Tennessee is in for some regression. I love the home dog in this spot. Give me the points!
