Tonight’s Best Player Props in the Association | NBA (12/04)

Utah JAzz

Happy Friday Jr. We’ve got a small slate of games in the Association but some fun matchups to get into. Let’s jump right into my favorite plays tonight in the NBA.

For additional information on picks, props, money lines and more on today’s slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page, here.

Saddiq Bey o23.5 PRA (-110) | BetOnline

Bey’s averaging 17.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a starter this year, playing 32.6 minutes per game in across the 13 starts. The Pelicans remain without a majority of their starting lineup, despite Trey Murphy returning to play. Zion Williamson, Herb Jones, Yves Missi and Jordan Poole all remain out of the lineup.

The Pelicans are on the 2nd of back to back games against the Timberwolves, both coming here in New Orleans. Bey recorded 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in that matchup and he’s cleared this PRA line in six straight games.

Bey Has 20+ points in four of his last six games and 18+ points in all six. He’s recorded double digit rebounds in four of the six games but has finished with six or more rebounds in every game. Bey’s also recorded 3+ assists in five of those same six games.

I’ve said this before, Bey’s also not going to start a ton of games once the Pelicans get back to full health. This is the best/most opportune time for him to put some good basketball on tape. He’s played 33+ minutes in five of these six games and all six have come without Herb Jones. Bey’s averaging 33 points/rebounds/assists in the six games without Herb this year and should look to do more of the same tonight.

Keyonte George o31.5 PRA (-122) | BetOnline

Keyonte George

Now in his third year, Keyonte George has taken another leap forward this year. The young PG is now averaging 22.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game. He’s started all 20 of Utah’s games this year, leads the team in assists and is the team’s 2nd leading scorer. George is now playing 35.6 minutes per game and has become this team’s #2 option on the offensive side of the ball.

The Jazz have allowed usage to split between George and Lauri Markkanen almost exactly down the middle, George is seeing a 26.9% usage rate while Lauri comes in at 26.7%. George is scoring 27.3% of the team’s points this year and accounts for 33.3% of the team’s assists.

Tonight the Jazz are in Brooklyn for the first leg of a back to back where they’ll face the Nets and Knicks. Brooklyn ranks 29th in opponent effective field goal percentage, 26th in opponent 3-point percentage and give up a ton of turnovers. George leads the Jazz in both points off turnovers and fast break points per game. He’s second on the team in points scored in the paint, a spot on the floor Brooklyn ranks 30th defending.

The Nets are on the 2nd leg of a back to back tonight and after a tough fought win last night, I’m expecting the Jazz to come in and take advantage.

Brandon Ingram o22.5 Points (-122) | BetOnline

Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram looks great. The Raptors are winning games and the team that drafted him is visiting tonight. Ingram’s averaging 21.5 points per game this year, shooting 47.2% from the field and 31.3% from beyond the arc. The Raptors lead their division, sit 2nd in the East and Ingram’s their leading scorer.

He’s seeing a 27.1% usage rate this year, scoring 26.0% of the team’s points. That usage rate jumps to 29.4% at home in Toronto. He’s averaging 24.6 points per game at home this year, shooting 49.5% from the field and 41.2% from beyond the arc. Ingram’s gone under this line in three straight games but he’s taken 17+ shot attempts in five of his last six games.

The usage has only gone up with RJ Barrett out of the lineup. He averages 24.0 points per game against the Lakers and he’s cleared this line in 7 of his L10 against them. Ingram scored 32 points in the latest matchup, coming in mid November last year.

Los Angeles ranks 30th in points allowed to the SF position and rank 25th in opponent effective field goal percentage. Ingram’s last two games both had the feeling of ‘look ahead’ performances and with the Lakers in town tonight, it’s easy to see why. This one’s been circled, this matchup’s always circled.
