Tonight’s Best Player Props in the Association | NBA (11/12)

Dillon Brooks

I know you’re locked in on a Sunday full of football, but with a slate this nice we’ve got to talk about the NBA. Let’s jump right into my three favorite props tonight.

For additional information on picks, props, money lines and more on today’s slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page, here.

Lauri Markkanen o26.5 Points (-105) | BetOnline

Lauri Markkanen

More people should be talking about Lauri Markkanen. Lauri’s averaging 29.9 points per game, shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.8% from beyond the arc. He’s playing 35.7 minutes per game and has recorded 30+ points in 4 of his last 5 games.

Utah’s coming off an ugly loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder in which they gave up 144 points on their own home floor. Markkanen scored just 19 points and took a season low 8 field goal attempts. Lauri did get to the free throw line for 9 free throw attempts but it really had the feel of a ‘look ahead spot’ with the Lakers on the schedule just two days later.

He’s played the Lakers 10 times since coming over to Utah, recording 25+ points in 5 of the 10 games and averaging 23.2 points per game. He’s shooting 53.2% from the field in these games and just had 31 against Los Angeles on Tuesday. Markkanen took 21 shots in that game, shot 57% from the field and this was on the road.

Lauri’s averaging 33.1 points per game at home this year, shooting 51.8% from the field and getting to the line for just under 9 free throw attempts per game. The Lakers rank 28th in points allowed to the PF position and with Lebron back on the court, it feels like a spot we can pick on.

Dillon Brooks 18.5 Points (-115) | BetOnline

Dillon Brooks

Dillon Brooks has been fantastic this year, he’s averaging 21.0 points per game and doing it on shooting splits of 46/34/87. He’s helped the Suns to a 10-6 record on the year and they’ve won 7 of the 10 games he’s played in. Brooks is also averaging 25.6 points per game at home this year, shooting 48.5% from the field and getting to the line for just over 5 free throw attempts per game.

Today the Suns will face off with a Spurs team that ranks top 10 in most defensive categories but without Victor Wembanyama that completely flips on it’s head. San Antonio just gave up 125 points to the Hawks in their most recent matchup, allowing Atlanta to shoot 54% from beyond the arc.

San Antonio ranks 25th in opponent 3s allowed and 28th in 3-point percentage allowed. They’ve done a bad job on the perimeter this year and tonight on the road in Phoenix I don’t see it getting better. Look for Brooks and this entire Suns team to take advantage.

Dyson Daniels o24.5 PRA (+100) | BetOnline

Dyson Daniels

Lastly, Dyson Daniels has been great in the absence of Trae Young. In 12 games without Trae, Daniels is averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game. He’s cleared this line in 7 of the 12 games this year and 10 of 16 going back to last year.

Last time Daniels played the Hornets he scored 22 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. He’s shooting 59% from the field in his four games against the Hornets last year and averaged nearly 10 potential assists per game; all of these games came with Trae in the lineup.

This year the Hornets rank 23rd in points allowed, 27th in opponent field goal percentage and dead last in opponent 3-point percentage. Charlotte also ranks 27th in opponent assists and a lot of that’s because of their poor perimeter defense. Atlanta’s playing at a top 10 pace this year and I don’t expect that to slow down tonight against the Hornets.
