NBA Best Prop Bets for Wednesday, November 26

Kyle Kuzma

Kyle Kuzma Over 4.5 Rebounds (+100)

Let’s begin down in South Beach, where the scorching Heat are chasing their sixth straight victory as they host the Milwaukee Bucks.

There isn’t a deep dive needed on this prop – it’s simply a good number. Kyle Kuzma to grab five or more rebounds is sitting at plus money, and he’s facing a team that ranks 25th in rebound percentage (48.3%). That alone makes this an attractive play.

Kuzma is averaging only about four boards per game, but this matchup gives him a great opportunity to sneak past that mark against one of the weaker rebounding teams in the association. It’s not a prop I’d typically target, but given the opponent – and the price – it’s worth the cost of admission.

LaMelo Ball Charlotte Hornets

LaMelo Ball Over 4.5 Rebounds (+105)

For some reason, we’re getting a great look at LaMelo Ball to grab over 4.5 rebounds at plus money. The Hornets’ guard is averaging 6.6 boards per game and has cleared this mark in seven of 10 outings. It’s not the largest sample size for the 24-year-old, but it’s more than enough to justify taking him over this number.

Ball will be matched up against a New York Knicks team that ranks sixth in rebound percentage (52%), which likely explains why this prop is priced where it is. But keep in mind – the Knicks take a heavy share of their shots from beyond the arc (43%). Even though Charlotte ranks dead last in opponent three-point percentage, long-range attempts create long rebounds, giving Ball plenty of chances to come down with at least five.

Anfernee Simons Under 14.5 Points (-121)

The Boston Celtics guard has scored 23 points in each of his last two games, and that mini-surge has slightly inflated his points prop. But even with those recent outings, he’s averaging just 13.8 points per game this month, and 14.4 on the season.

Tonight, Simons and the Celtics draw the Pistons – a defense that has taken a major step forward. Detroit ranks second in points allowed per 100 possessions (110.5) and fourth in defensive effective field goal percentage (51.8%).

Simons is taking 56% of his shots from three, but the Pistons defend the arc well, sitting 11th in opponent three-point percentage (36%).

I’m selling high on Simons’ scoring output against a top-tier defense this evening.

Deni Avdija Under 41.5 PRA (-110)

Our final player prop for Wednesday is going to be a fade of Deni Avdija, taking him to stay under 41.5 points, rebounds and assists.

Avdija has been strong this season, averaging 25 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists. That puts him at roughly 36 combined PRA – well below tonight’s inflated line of 41.5.

Portland hosts the Spurs, a team that ranks seventh in points per possession allowed and 10th in defensive eFG%. Avdija takes 37% of his shots at the rim and 35% from deep. San Antonio struggles defending the three, but they excel inside, holding opponents to just 58.6% shooting at the rim – the second-best mark in the league.

Beyond scoring, the Spurs also rank fourth in rebound percentage (52.4%) and 13th in assists allowed per game (26.4).

This is a tougher matchup than the prop number suggests, and the books haven’t adjusted. Let’s take advantage.
