NBA Best Prop Bets for Monday, November 10

Lonzo Ball Under 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-134)

While it’s great to see Lonzo Ball back on the floor, the production just hasn’t been there yet. He’s averaging 4.6 points per game and shooting 29% from the field.

His usage rate is the lowest of his career (17.4%), and his Points per Shot Attempt sits at 78.7 – which doesn’t even qualify for percentile ranking due to the inefficiency.

From deep, he’s hitting 1.2 threes on 4.4 attempts per game (27.3%). And I don’t see those numbers improving in this matchup, considering Miami ranks third in opponent 3-point percentage allowed (32.1%).

This is simply a tough environment to expect positive regression.

Jaylon Tyson Under 9.5 Points (-125)

Let’s keep things in South Beach, where I’m fading another Cavaliers scorer. I’m taking Jaylon Tyson under 9.5 points tonight.

Tyson, similar to Ball, isn’t working with a high usage rate (14%, 22nd percentile), even though he’s averaging 11.3 points per game. He’s put together a nice stretch recently, averaging just under 14 points over his last four, but this feels like the right spot to sell high on that scoring uptick.

He’s taking 57% of his attempts from three, and Miami’s perimeter defense is one of the toughest matchups for that shot profile. The Heat are holding opponents to just 32.1% from deep (third-best in the NBA). On top of that, Miami ranks fourth in both defensive efficiency (points per 100 possessions allowed) and opponent eFG%.

Tyson has been a helpful spark for Cleveland’s offense, but in this matchup I expect him to come back down a bit.

Royce O’Neale Over 9.5 Points (+100)

Our lone over for the night will be tied to Royce O’Neale. The 32-year-old is averaging 12.6 points per game and has scored in double figures in eight of 10 contests so far.

He’s been extremely efficient, posting a 64.6% eFG% (88th percentile) and a PSA of 127.3 (76th percentile). An astounding 85% of his attempts are coming from beyond the arc, and he’s managing to hit 44% of those looks.

New Orleans does a solid job contesting threes (eighth in opponent 3pt%), but they allow teams to take plenty of them, ranking 27th in 3-point attempt rate (42.6%).

O’Neale should get plenty of clean looks from his preferred range, which puts him in a strong spot to clear 9.5 and get us to double digits.

NBA Record: 28-19 (+6.96 units)
