The Knicks are 3-0 to begin their road trip, most recently coming off Monday’s 119-112 win over the Golden State Warriors. The Nuggets are also feeling good about themselves though as Tuesday’s 115-112 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves marked the 12th win in their last 14 games.
One of these teams has a much better shot at winning a championship this season, per oddsmakers. Bovada is currently giving Denver +325 odds (2nd) to win the 2023-24 NBA Finals while New York is available at +3500 (13th).

Knicks vs Nuggets Prediction & NBA Picks Today (3/21): New York’s Road Luck Ends
These teams previously squared off at Madison Square Garden back in January, resulting in one of the Nuggets’ most lopsided losses of the season. The Knicks emerged with the massive 122-84 victory as OG Anunoby led the charge with a team-high 26 points on 55.6% shooting.
Having said that, New York’s victory over Denver was a rare one. After all, the Nuggets tend to dominate the Knicks more often than not, winning 14 of the last 18 games between these teams.
And while the Knicks did win on their last trip to Ball Arena back in November 2022, that doesn’t erase the fact that they’ve lost 14 of their last 15 road games against the Nuggets, being outscored by an average of 12.1 points per game.
Playing at Ball Arena tends to spell bad news for the Knicks.
Yes, the Knicks have been solid on the road lately, winning five away games in a row. At the same time, Ball Arena has been one of the toughest locations for visitors to play at this season. Not only are the Nuggets tied for the second-highest winning percentage in the NBA (81.8%), but they have also won 13 of their last 15 home games.
It’s also worth noting that New York is 9-10-1 ATS (47.4%) as the road underdog whereas Denver owns a 15-16-1 ATS (48.4%) record as the home favorite.
The Knicks’ injury situation could also make pulling off an upset extremely difficult. On top of Mitchell Robinson (ankle) and Julius Randle (shoulder) sitting this game out, OG Anunoby (elbow) also won’t be suiting up. Anunoby is, arguably, New York’s best defender and that’s proven by his team being 26-25 SU without him compared to 15-2 SU when he plays.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are completely healthy outside of Zeke Nnaji, who is questionable with a back injury.
Will the Nuggets’ healthier roster be the difference-maker tonight?
With the Knicks missing their three best players, I’m going with the Nuggets winning tonight. Denver will be motivated to get revenge following January’s blowout loss and its recent play at Ball Arena proves that Mike Malone’s team is more than up for the task.
At the same time, I won’t be surprised if this is another low-scoring game, hence why I’m taking u207.5 total points. On top of these teams combining for 206 points two months ago, the Under is also 11-2 in New York’s last 13 games as well as 19-14 at Ball Arena this season.
With five of the last seven Knicks-Nuggets matchups falling short of 207.5 points, let’s keep expectations low this evening.

As for the best Knicks vs. Nuggets player prop, I have my sights set on Nikola Jokic o25.5 points.
Jokic — who’s Bovada’s -330 NBA MVP favorite — has excelled at scoring the ball lately, averaging 27.4 points on .593/.417/.867 shooting splits over his last nine games. He finished with more than 25.5 points six times during that stretch, including when he tallied 35 against the Timberwolves two nights ago.
Considering how he also dropped 31 points against the Knicks earlier this season, I’d be shocked if Jokic doesn’t hit the Over again.
