With four races remaining in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular season, some twists and turns are still to come before the playoff picture is complete. This weekend will feature some literal twists and turns, as the series will visit a road course for the first time this season. Who are the top names to watch for Saturday’s LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park? Read on for predictions and picks for NASCAR’s debut at the famed venue.
Bet on NASCAR Odds at Top Online Sportsbooks
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.
If you would like to learn more about these sports betting sites and the sportsbook bonuses you can get at them to bet on the LiUNA 150 and other NASCAR races, we have in-depth sportsbook reviews for each of them and several other top online sportsbooks.
Is Heim Headed for More Heartbreak?
In each of the past two Truck Series seasons, Corey Heim took home the regular season title and went on to reach the Championship 4, only to come up empty-handed in Phoenix.
With the way this season has gone, a similar outcome would not be a surprise.
With 14 of 18 regular season races in the books, Heim is closing in on a third straight Truck Series regular season title. He heads into the LiUNA 150 with a 124-point lead over Chandler Smith, leads the series with four wins, and has finished in the top three eight times.
However, he could be in an even better position. Three times this season, Heim has won the first two stages but not the race, and two other times, he won the second stage but not the race.
The most recent time he did the latter was last week at Pocono. He won the second stage and was well on his way to the win in the 80-lap MillerTech Battery 200, then sustained a flat tire with 19 laps left that resulted in a 23rd-place finish.
Heim has now won the second stage in four successive races, but since winning in Charlotte last month, he has finished second, 18th, and 23rd.
Still, because he has been so dominant this season, he will be the man to beat at Lime Rock Park, and LiUNA 150 odds reflect that.

LiUNA 150 Predictions and Picks
Cam Waters to finish in the top five (+105 at Bovada)
Waters, who is currently fourth in this season’s Supercars Championship, will be making his third Truck Series start in the ThorSport Racing No. 66. His previous two starts were last season at Martinsville, where he finished 30th, and Kansas, where he finished 19th.
Lime Rock Park should be a bit more his speed, and the 30-year-old, who is in his tenth full-time season in Supercars, is worth a look here given his level of experience. He’ll no doubt be looking to impress, as it could lead to more opportunities this season and beyond.
Chandler Smith to finish in the top five (+225 at Bovada)
Smith’s only top-five finish in his last eight races is his win at North Wilkesboro Speedway last month, but he has finished seventh, eighth, and seventh in his last three races. He has had some decent road course results in both the Xfinity Series and Truck Series, and at an unfamiliar venue, he’s a solid option when some of the other options are not as experienced on road courses or lack Truck Series experience.
Corey Heim to win the LiUNA 150
Heim won the last two Truck Series road course races, the XPEL 225 at Circuit of the Americas last season and the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio in the 2023 season. He is the best driver in the field with the best truck in the field (when it’s working, which it hasn’t in every race), and if he can avoid the misfortune that has befallen him far too often this season, this is his race to lose.
