Last Sunday, Ross Chastain pulled off a late heist to win the Coca-Cola 600 and all but punch his ticket to this season’s NASCAR Cup Series championship playoffs. Will another driver join him today in the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway (7:00 pm ET, Amazon Prime Video)?
At Charlotte Motor Speedway, William Byron dominated, leading 283 laps. But his car lost its mojo down the stretch of the 400-lap race, and Chastain, who started last in the 40-car field in a backup car due to a practice crash, capitalized to win for the first time since the second race at Kansas Speedway last September. It was a record-setting win for 2022 series runner-up, who became the first driver in NASCAR’s modern era to win a Cup Series race in which he started last.
Most importantly, after missing out on the playoffs last season, Chastain should now be one of the initial 16 participants this season.
After his clutch Coca-Cola 600 win, Chastain, who won at Nashville Superspeedway in 2023, is expected to contend for back-to-back wins, according to top online sportsbooks.
Bet on NASCAR Odds at BetOnline and Bovada
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.
If you would like to learn more about these sports betting sites and the sportsbook bonuses you can get at them to bet on the Cracker Barrel 400 and other NASCAR races, we have in-depth sportsbook reviews for each of them and several other top online sportsbooks.
Will Briscoe Punch His Playoff Ticket Tonight?
One driver who will be looking to all but lock himself in this week, or at least improve his hopes, is Chase Briscoe.
Briscoe was the polesitter for the Coca-Cola 600 but led all of one lap. But he did bag a third-place finish behind Chastain and Byron, which was his best since taking the wheel of the Joe Gibbs Racing #19 this season.
Yesterday, Briscoe topped the charts in qualifying for the second straight week and third time this season, in addition to his poles at Daytona and Charlotte. Will the third pole prove to be the charm? Bovada’s Cracker Barrel 400 odds list Briscoe with the joint-eighth best odds to win the race, along with Brad Keselowski.

Cracker Barrel 400 Predictions and Picks
Ryan Blaney to finish in the Cracker Barrel 400 top three (+235 at Bovada)
Blaney did not have a memorable Coca-Cola 600, finishing 38th after being caught up in a crash on lap 246. That, however, may bode well for how tonight should go for the 2023 series champion. Last time he failed to finish, he made a jump of 34 spots in the next race, going for 37th at Talladega to third at Texas.
Chase Briscoe to finish in the top five (+225 at Bovada)
Briscoe did not convert his previous two poles into wins, but he did convert them into top-five finishes. Look for that to happen again in the Cracker Barrel 400 and for Briscoe to notch his sixth top-five finish of the season.
William Byron to finish in the top five (+135 at Bovada)
As was the case at Darlington, where he led 243 laps but finished fourth, Byron led well over 200 laps at Charlotte but came up empty-handed, unless you count taking over the points lead by collecting 65 points.
It was his sixth top five in 2025, but it is worth noting that he has yet to finish in the top five in consecutive races this season. He qualified third behind Briscoe and Denny Hamlin, so it would appear he has another strong car this week. Back back-to-back top fives for Byron at fairly decent value.
