Since his close decision loss to the great Jon Jones, Reyes has had a tough road back to the top of the division. The loser of 3 straight, being knocked out brutally in all 3, some fans thought his best days were behind him.
Somewhere along the line he made the changes necessary to propel his skills & durability back to where it belongs. The former title contender has since ripped off 3 straight wins, flashing his skills & power along the way.
Reyes has finished all 3 of those fights over top contenders in the division looking the like Reyes of old. MMA fans can see the swagger & confidence of Reyes make a resurgence.
Will Reyes Continue His Career Resurgence?
A lot of MMA fans had the idea that his chin was gone after the 3 brutal knock outs. On this run Reyes has shown the chin is not absolutely gone & has been able to take damage required in a MMA fight.
In his time with the UFC Reyes has made a name for himself with his grappling ability and big power in his hands. A southpaw striker with great versatility in his attacks, he has rounded out his game to be a dangerous opponent.

One thing has become very clear in Ulberg’s game, he will not take many risks. If things go his way, his opponent will be the aggressive one walking forward & throwing first in exchanges.
When his opponent is willing to engage, that is when Ulberg is able to shine with his high level counter striking. Ulberg is willing to be patient enough to wait for his opponent to make a mistake.
The low volume striking of Ulberg can be troubling for some bettors. It often leads to boring fights with not much action such as his last 2 decision victories.
In this match up with Reyes, I expect Ulberg to be even more patient due to Reyes Grappling ability. This fight has all the potential to be boring and I expect it to see the later rounds before Ulberg can find the KO shot.
