Happy Fourth of July!
Yankees vs. Mets: Juan Soto gets a crack at his old team again, and the stage is set. A soft arm, a friendly park, and an elite rating. Everything lines up for a breakout night in Queens.

The cold streak continues. I strongly suggest either taking any hitter I give out just to record a hit and pairing it with someone else for plus money—or fully fading the pick altogether.

It is finally time for Juan Soto to get his revenge on his former team after doing absolutely nothing against them back in May, going just 1-for-10 in that series. Now in Queens, with less pressure and more fans behind him, Soto is primed for a big game against a very weak arm.
Marcus Stroman gets the ball for the Mets, fresh off his first start since returning from injury. While he looked serviceable against the Athletics, I have zero respect for Stroman’s arm. He has not thrown a single pitch above league average in over two years. Left-handed hitters are batting .273 and slugging .576 against him in his career. In four starts this season, the 34-year-old has allowed 13 runs on 15 hits, including five extra-base hits.
Soto enters this one with a hit in back-to-back games—three singles across those two—and feels due for an explosive outing. He matches up well against Stroman’s pitch mix and holds the only elite rating in this matchup, per Batters-Box. At home, when Soto has an elite rating, he records a hit 64% of the time, goes over this prop 47%, and logs an RBI in 53% of games.
At +130 against a pitcher I do not believe in? That makes my mouth water. Give me Soto.
