Yankees vs Angels Season Recap
The Yankees are currently 5th in the AL East, but they still have a better record than the Angels. New York is 50-45 and 22-22 on the road this season following last night’s loss.
The Angels are 4th in the AL West, and they are one game behind .500 at 47-48. They are better at Angel Stadium where they are 25-22 on the year.
These two teams played a three game series in New York back in April, where the Yankees won two out of three. After dropping game 1, the Yankees beat the Angels in the next two games to win the series at home.
Tonight with the season series all tied up, both teams will look to put their team in a better playoff position.

Yankees vs Angels Prediction & Best Bets
Shohei Ohtani saved the Angels last night with his two run home run in the bottom of the 7th to tie the ball game. Los Angeles would go on to win the game in extra innings, evening up the season series.
Tonight they face Domingo Germán who through a perfect game just three starts ago. He struck out nine in six innings in his last start against the Cubs, but aside from his perfect game, he does struggle on the road.
For one he doesn’t last very long on the road, averaging just 15 outs in away games. Germán also doesn’t have much experience against these Angel batters, thus potentially leaving him susceptible to get shelled early.
Ultimately, I think the Angels win this dumpster fire of a game, and I have a player props to go along with it.

This guy has been crazy hot recently and he absolutely smashes right-handed pitchers.
Moniak clears 2+ bases in 50% of games this year. He’s currently on an eight game hitting streak, although he’s only hit 2+ bases in half of those games.
However, Moniak hits .348 against righties. He’s smashed all of his doubles and home runs this year against RHP, but Germán will be a true test.
Moniak’s hit was available for -165 if you feel like paying the juice man, but I’ll take 2+ bases for plus money tonight.
