Two days out from the World Series, and the specialty props continue to roll in on BetOnline. As I was scrolling through this morning, I stumbled upon an intriguing prop: Player with the Most Hits in the Series. The usual suspects—Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Tommy Edman—topped the list. But then, as I kept scrolling, I found a name that could arguably be the most dangerous hitter in the postseason.
This hitter just came out of the Championship Series with seven hits, batting .368, and posting an OPS of 1.373—all while being walked in every game but one. His postseason run has been nothing short of remarkable, but it’s far from a surprise. In his nine playoff games, he’s batting .333, with 11 hits and three home runs. His OPS stands at 1.106, and he’s boasting a .439 on-base percentage. Still not sure who it is? Alright, here’s a hint: he’s shuffled his way into becoming one of the most clutch postseason hitters of the last decade.
Give up? It’s Juan Soto.
The way Soto has carried himself throughout this postseason and past playoffs has been outstanding. He thrives in these high-pressure moments, fully locked in and ready to carry his team. The biggest concern? Walks. Soto has been walked in seven of the nine games this postseason, but if that’s the only concern, then the 10/1 odds on him leading the series in hits provide incredible value. Soto will do everything he can to push his team to victory.
The Bet: Juan Soto to lead the series in hits (+1000) on BetOnline
