The AL Central leading Minnesota Twins are in Baltimore taking on the Orioles for the last game of a three game series. The Twins have taken both games so far, so the visiting Twins will look to at least travel home with a victory.

Twins vs Orioles Preview
These two teams have not faced each other this year, but one leads their division, and the other is in 2nd place. The Orioles are currently 2nd in the AL East but they boast a 48-33 record, including 25-18 at home.
The Twins lead the AL Central, arguably the worst division in baseball, and they’re only 19-23 on the road this year. Add in the fact that they have won both games already in this series, and my gut tells me the Orioles win this one with ease.
However, Cole Irvin is on the mound for Baltimore. And the man’s ERA is north of 7.00.
Minnesota’s offense isn’t anything spectacular, but they do lead their division for a reason. I’m not convinced that the Twins win this game outright, but I do think they give Irvin a run for his money.

Will the O’s Avoid a Sweep?
I’m willing to bet so. Especially for a little plus money.
I found the Orioles ML at +105 at BetOnline, and I’m all in.
Baltimore ranks 8th in runs per game and 13th in hits per game. The O’s are in the top half of the league batting average, on base percentage, and are top 10 in slugging percentage. Quite frankly, they’re bats are electric.
I’ll take the O’s against Gray. He has a 2.67 ERA this year, but in his career against Baltimore that number is 4.60. The total is set at 8.5 juiced to the over, and I think we see plenty of runs.
Player Props
Austin Hays over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)
Hays rips righties.
He bats .311 on the year against them, and in 5 play appearances against Gray, he rips .400. Just two singles and an RBI, but still, note worthy.
Hays hasn’t hit too well recently, but I think Gray is a great matchup that can get him back on track.
Gray historically struggles against the O’s, Hays has hit well off of Sonny in the past, and after losing the first two games, Baltimore will be hungry to get themselves back in win column.
I think Hays can contribute to an O’s victory and help this total go over 8.5
