Reds vs. Cubs: We are headed to the Northside, where the Cubs are one of the best early-scoring teams in baseball. With plus money on the board and a struggling arm taking the mound, this spot jumps off the page. The numbers back it, and the value is too strong to ignore.

Headed to the Northside of Chicago to take yet another first five team total. Yes, it will be the hometown Cubbies over 2.5 runs at plus money.
The Cubs are the second-best first five scoring team in baseball, averaging over three runs at home. They also own the second-highest rated offense in the current season ratings on Batters-Box. Their lineup features five elite rated hitters, none above the league strikeout rate and only two above the league ground ball rate.
Today they take on former Ray, Zack Littell, who is making his Reds debut this evening. He is also the worst rated pitcher on the day. The 29-year-old carries poor marks in matchup wOBA, ISO, hard contact, strikeout percentage, and ground ball rate. He is allowing 38% hard contact this season.
Littell vs. Cubs
In Littell’s last five road games, he owns a 3.03 ERA, 4.55 xERA, and a 48% hard hit rate. Opposing hitters have a .264 xBA, .469 xSLG, and .345 xwOBA. Overall on the road this season, the right-hander has a 3.74 ERA, allowing six hits and 2.66 runs per start. He has allowed three runs in seven of his 12 road outings.
Chicago has been seeing the ball well at home in recent games. Over their last 90 plate appearances, six hitters have an OPS above .718. Five of those six are the elite rated bats in this matchup.
Getting plus money on a team that has played great ball all season long at home against a very weak arm is a must for me this evening.
Go Cubbies.
