The MLB offseason drama is in full swing, with major stars shifting teams and front offices scrambling to strike deals. The Mets’ blockbuster signing of Juan Soto has set the tone, and now all eyes are on Nolan Arenado, a perennial All-Star and elite defender. As trade rumors heat up, questions loom over his list of preferred destinations and the surprising odds surrounding his next team.

Confusing Odds
The Hot Stove is burning red hot, with baseball superstars on the move. The Mets have signed Juan Soto to a mega-deal, setting off a chain reaction as the rest of the league scrambles to make moves. Reports indicate that 8-time All-Star and 10-time Gold Glove third baseman Nolan Arenado is willing to waive his no-trade clause for six teams: the Dodgers, Padres, Phillies, Mets, Red Sox, and Angels. Oddly, three of those six teams are not even on the betting odds list. What is more perplexing is that the New York Yankees—who are not on his list—are reportedly the front-runners to land him.
Nolan Arenado would be willing to accept a trade to the following teams, per @JohnDenton555

Arenado’s Landing Spot Leans
Among the six teams Arenado is open to, the Dodgers, Phillies, and Red Sox appear on the odds list. For now, it’s wise to hold off on making any moves until the situation becomes clearer. Six teams is a broad pool, but it’s likely to narrow to two or three in the coming days.
If I had to choose, I’d lean toward Boston or Philadelphia. Both teams are in dire need of a third baseman, and the Red Sox, in particular, seem highly motivated after missing out on Juan Soto. Their aggressive approach this offseason makes them a strong contender for Arenado. That said, the Dodgers are relentless sharks in offseason waters, always circling for opportunities to add another star to their already talent-packed roster.
Still, I wouldn’t place bets on any team not on Arenado’s list of six. Something about this situation feels off.
