The Brewers’ stud rookie is making his second start in the big leagues. He had a phenomenal outing in his first start, picking up the win, not allowing a run, and striking out five batters. However, that was against the Cardinals. The Twins arguably have much better hitters, and I see him having his “Welcome to the MLB” moment tonight on the road.

This kid Misiorowski is a Kansas City Metro-native, so I’ve got a soft spot for him. However, I hope he gets blown up tonight.
The Twins are back at home after a character building road trip. They lost five of six on the road to the Astros and Reds, but at Target Field, they are 20-12 this season. Milwaukee is just 17-20 on the road, and although its team batting average improves, it struggles against right-handed pitching.
Joe Ryan ranks No. 20 in the MLB in ERA with a sub 3.00, and is fourth in the league in WHIP, posting a 0.90. He’s only allowed three or more earned runs in 4/14 starts this year, and against the Brewers’ bats, he should be perfectly comfortable at home. His splits slightly improve at Target Field, and he should get plenty of run support as well.
The Twins hit .243 overall, with that improving to .251 at home. Plus, they are hitting .256 during the month of June. They are trending in the right direction, still trying to catch the Tigers in the AL Central, and I believe they pick up the easy win tonight against Milwaukee.
