Angels vs. Red Sox: Some players you ride with until the wheels fall off—and Rafael Devers might be reaching that point. The matchup is screaming value, the numbers line up, and yet the trust is shaky. Still, today sets up perfectly for him… one last time.

Angels vs. Red Sox Best Bet
I hate this day. I might have to create my first ever banned list if this man does not come through for us today. Rafael Devers—I can never seem to be on the right side of him, even when everything points to success at the plate. Yet here we are again, and it is another great spot to back the Red Sox star.
He loves hitting lefties, and he loves hitting at home. So far this season, he owns a .330 average, .633 slugging percentage, and 1.073 OPS at Fenway. Against left-handed pitchers, he is batting .308 with a .449 slugging percentage and .842 OPS. He does not have an elite rating on Batters-Box today—just above average—which honestly shocked me. I locked in this prop last night expecting an elite grade. Regardless, he is still a go. When he carries an above average rating, he still hits a home run 25% of the time.
Devers faces Angels left-hander Yusei Kikuchi, who allows nearly 40% hard contact to opposing hitters. The 33-year-old is surrendering 5.25 hits and 1.25 extra-base hits per game on average. He has struggled on the road, where he holds a 4.30 ERA and a .257 opponent batting average. Five of the seven home runs he has allowed have come away from home. On top of that, 51% of his pitches are below league average—and Devers crushes all four pitches in his arsenal.
For the final time, I will be looking forward to Devers Day. But if he does not deliver at the dish, he is banned.
