AL MVP: Aaron Judge may have the MVP race locked down in the eyes of most, but value still exists further down the board. One name stands out early as a sleeper pick with serious upside. Let us talk about Alex Bregman and why he deserves a look.

I do not think anyone is getting in the way of Aaron Judge winning another MVP award—unless he suffers a serious injury. Of course, no one is wishing harm on one of the greatest hitters of this era, but there has to be some value on the board somewhere, right? I believe there is, and it comes in the form of one of the newest faces on the Boston Red Sox: Alex Bregman.
The third baseman has been a dream addition for Boston, batting .319 with a .937 OPS. He already has 37 hits, 11 doubles, five home runs, and 22 RBI, making a clear impact on nearly every game this season.
At 100 to 1 to win the MVP, it is hard for me to ignore the value based on his early success. I also do not love most of the prices above him. Mike Trout has not been sharp, and neither have Gunnar Henderson, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., or Jose Ramirez. All are elite talents, but when it comes to value, Bregman stands out.
He is just getting started. Historically, his OPS and slugging percentage rise from May through August. For an early-season longshot, Bregman is a sharp look and an even better sprinkle.
