As the games roll on, this World Series only grows more intense. After Monday’s 18-inning thriller and a massive win for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Toronto Blue Jays shook it off and answered with a statement victory in Game 4, winning 6-2. Now they have a chance to steal another one on the road before heading back north with a chance to close it out.

As someone holding a Dodgers World Series ticket, I truly believe the Blue Jays come out on top. I fully expect to rip up my -185 Dodgers ticket in the coming days, and I think that is awesome. I never wanted a sweep or a gentleman’s sweep. This series has been unbelievable, and the thought of Toronto knocking off the so-called “greatest team ever assembled” is special.

Toronto has looked like the hungrier team from the start. Their “never say die” mindset has been incredible to watch. For those without any action on either side, I would strongly suggest investing in the Blue Jays. Take it game by game. Tonight they sit at +175, while the series price is +160. I think playing the individual games moving forward is the better angle.

MVP Leans

For those hunting value, Alejandro Kirk at nearly eight-to-one is an excellent number. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be the key reason they stay alive, but if the Dodgers begin pitching around him, it could hurt his MVP chances.

If the Dodgers somehow turn this around, which I am finding harder to believe after such a flat Game 4, I do not see much value on their side for MVP. Unless someone explodes in the next few games, Shohei Ohtani would likely be the frontrunner. He could have a “Jerry West moment,” winning the award even if his team loses the series. Still, paying -155 for that prop feels steep. You are better off betting his walks instead.

Other Futures

As I mentioned previously, I am not a fan of the current price for the Blue Jays to win the series outright. If you want exposure to them outside of a game-by-game moneyline, consider betting on them to win the series 4-3 or 4-2. Both of these props are above three-to-one and present excellent value on the underdog.

This World Series has been everything fans could hope for, intense, unpredictable, and full of drama. The Blue Jays have shown resilience, energy, and a hunger that could carry them past the mighty Dodgers. Every game has mattered, and taking it one matchup at a time is the smartest approach for bettors. Key players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Alejandro Kirk have shined, while the Dodgers’ stars, including Shohei Ohtani, still hold intrigue but carry risk.
