The 2025 World Series has been nothing short of electric, and the pendulum has swung in a major way. After the Blue Jays took down the Dodgers in Game 5, the series is now 3-2, with Toronto just one win away from its first championship since 1993. Los Angeles looks worn down, and the odds are finally reflecting the Jays’ dominance.
Tonight’s matchup offers prime opportunities for sharp bettors to find value, whether it is on the series winner, individual props, or MVP markets. Here is where the best value currently lies.

Since the last World Series Specialty Props update, the series has completely flipped, and the oddsmakers have finally put some respect on the Blue Jays’ name. After taking down the Dodgers in Game 5, Toronto now leads 3-2 and is one win away from its first championship since 1993. The Los Angeles Dodgers look like they are running on fumes. However, this is also the only time you will find real value in betting on the Dodgers to somehow pull off the comeback and take the series.
Where is the Value for LA?
Many believe Dodgers Game 2 and Game 6 starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto is due for another gem tonight. His Game 2 complete game was pure dominance, but can he replicate that performance on the road? I say no. Still, if you think he will be Los Angeles’ savior, take a swing at his World Series MVP odds instead of the Dodgers’ series price. There is more value on Yamamoto himself than there is in betting Shohei Ohtani or the Dodgers outright.
Where is the Value for Toronto?
If you are a Blue Jays fan feeling nervous about facing the dominant right-hander, hedge that fear with Toronto to win in seven at +240. That is not a bad price at all.
If you have no action on the series yet, this is the time to back the Blue Jays. Do not view it as blind tailing. They have been the clearly superior team throughout the series, yet they remain underdogs in every matchup. In Game 5, they were nearly +180 on the moneyline. I do not care who is on the mound, that is a misprice. The eye test screams value with how locked in the Blue Jays are right now.
As for World Series MVP value, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. feels like he has it in the bag. I have another piece up on our site breaking down how to approach his props tonight. Even though he might not see many pitches worth swinging at, there is still plenty of value in his markets. Click here for more.
The series has flipped, and the Blue Jays are now the favorites after taking Game 5 from the Dodgers. Toronto is one win away from its first championship since 1993, while Los Angeles looks depleted. This is the rare moment to find serious value on the Dodgers, but the edge is clearly with the Jays.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Game 2 dominance has some bettors thinking he can carry the Dodgers again, but replicating that performance on the road is unlikely. If you want exposure to him, his World Series MVP odds offer more value than betting on the Dodgers to win outright.
For Blue Jays fans or those looking for value, Toronto to win in seven at +240 is strong. Vlad Guerrero Jr. remains the top MVP prop, with plenty of upside even if he sees limited pitches.
