It’s Sunday Night and we’ve got two late games in the NBA. I’ve got a few props I’m loving on this slate so let’s jump right into it.

Rui Hachimura o1.5 3s (-130) | BetOnline
The Pelicans play basketball today and when the Pelicans play basketball I’m finding a way to fade their 3-point defense. New Orleans ranks 28th in 3s allowed, 16th in 3-point percentage allowed and 29th in wide open 3-point attempts allowed. The Pelicans are giving up 16.4 3s per game over their L5, shooting 36.8% from beyond the arc and taking almost 44 3-point attempts per game.
New Orleans refuses to guard on the perimeter and we’re starting to see team’s increase their volume from out there. Tonight the Pelicans roll into to Los Angeles on the 2nd night of a back to back. The Lakers will be without Lebron James and Marcus Smart tonight and with that more opportunities for a guy like Rui Hachimura.
Rui’s averaging 14.8 points per game this year, shooting 55.4% from the field and 48.5% from beyond the arc. He’s shown he’s more than capable of scoring, it’s just the volume isn’t always there. Rui’s cleared this line in 13 of his 17 games this year, including in their matchup with this same Pelicans team earlier this month.
In games without Lebron, Rui’s hit this line in 11 of their 13 games. The last time out against New Orleans, Rui scored 14 points, shot 6/10 from the field and 2/5 from beyond the arc. With the way the ball’s been moving in LA, I’m loving Rui to find a few open opportunities today from distance.
Saddiq Bey o26.5 PRA (-105) | BetOnline
Saddiq Bey isn’t going to start a ton of games this year but with almost every starter out for the Pelicans, Bey will make his 12th start of the year. Bey’s averaging 16.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a starter this year, playing 32.3 minutes per game in across the 11 starts. Bey’s played just one game with Trey Murphy out of the lineup and he scored 21 points, grabbed 7 boards and dished out 3 assists.
The Pelicans are on the 2nd night of a back to back and are still without both Jordan Poole and Dejounte Murray. Tonight the Pels will also be without Trey Murphy, Herbert Jones and Zion Williamson. Today’s lineup consists of three rookies, Bryce McGowens and Saddiq Bey.
Bey also happens to be in the 2nd year of his 3-year deal he signed with the Wizards. He’s 26 years old and might not have as many starts left when the Pelicans are back to full strength, let alone see the usage he’s been seeing recently. Bey’s cleared this line in four straight games and finished with double digit rebounds in three of the four games. He’s been great on both sides of the floor and tonight with the bright lights of Hollywood, don’t be surprised when Bey’s giving this Lakers team buckets.
Keegan Murray o24.5 PR (-111) | BetOnline
This Kings team is almost impossible to bet but with Domantas Sabonis out of the lineup, I’m taking a shot at Keegan Murray. Since making his season debut just over a week ago, Murray’s averaging 39.2 minutes per game and scoring 19.6 points per game. He’s done a great job on the glass too, averaging 8.0 rebounds per game and perfect timing too with Sabonis still out of the lineup.
In the team’s last four games, Murray’s seeing a 18.9% usage rate but scoring 22.5% of the team’s points. Tonight he faces off with a Grizzlies defense that ranks 21st in points allowed to PF and 28th in rebounds allowed to the position. The Kings will start Drew Eubanks at the center spot which should point to the fact they’ll be leaning on Murray a little more to clear the glass.
