New Jersey Online Casinos Set Record Revenue for May 2025

New Jersey online casinos have been earning their keep with the state’s revenue for May 2025. According to New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, the total revenue for May resulted in $614.7 million. This was a 20.5% increase year-on-year, and the Garden State’s strongest month to date this year.

iGaming more than held its own during May, raking in $246.8 million in revenue. This is 28.5% higher year-on-year than last May, and a 4.9% increase from April’s $235.3 million results. A total of $244.2 million of New Jersey online casino offerings came from online slots and table games. Meanwhile, online poker raked in $2.7 million.

Which New Jersey Online Casinos Led in May?

The top-three New Jersey online casino operators for May were FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM. FanDuel had a total revenue of $54.4 million, while DraftKings yielded $48 million, and BetMGM had $32.5 million. Borgata and Caesars Palace round off the top-five with $20.7 million and $17.9 million, respectively.

As for the bottom-five, Hard Rock Bet lands sixth with $13.1 million. Meanwhile, Golden Nugget is seventh with $10.6 million; BetRivers got $8 million, and Fanatics had $6.2 million. Lastly, Bally is in 10th place with $5.8 million revenue for May 2025.

It is also worth noting that the majority of the top online casino operators surged in revenue, percentage-wise. Most of the top-10 online casinos have double-figure percentage increases for May, with FanDuel leading the charge with +36.1%.

Sports Betting Showing Growth in New Jersey

Apart from the surging online gaming market, New Jersey’s sports betting industry is also ramping up favorable numbers. Online sportsbooks generated an overall revenue figure of $102.5 million for May. 

This number passed last May’s $78.8 million, also resulting in a 30.2% year-over-year growth. Data also reveals a strong preference for online sports betting in New Jersey, with digital wagers generating $98 million last month.

FanDuel led the market once more through its Meadowlands online sportsbook, earning $44.3 million for the month. DraftKings followed in second place with $28.3 million in revenue. Behind them were Fanatics with $6.2 million, Bet365 with $6.0 million, and ESPN Bet with $4.9 million.
