DP World Tour Danish Golf Championship Predictions & Picks: Will Kristoffer Have the Reit-an Stuff in Copenhagen?

DP World Tour golfer Kristoffer Reitan, one of the favorites to win the 2025 Danish Golf Championship - Danish Golf Championship 2025 Predictions, Picks & Odds

For U.S. Ryder Cup team hopefuls, this week’s BMW Championship represents their last chance to qualify automatically for the team or make a case to be a captain’s pick. For European team hopefuls, there are two more chances to do so. While some will look to do so in the second event of the FedEx Cup playoffs, the likes of Rasmus Hojgaard and Matt Wallace will look to do so at the DP World Tour’s Danish Golf Championship.

This week’s event will be held at Furesø Golf Klub, a 7,011-yard, par-71 course in Copenhagen. Sitting atop the odds are Hojgaard twins, Rasmus and Nicolai, and Wallace, who have spent most of 2025 on the PGA Tour.

Rasmus Hojgaard, who ranks eighth in the European Ryder Cup team rankings, and Wallace, who is 11th, missed out on the FedEx Cup playoffs as they ranked outside the top 70. But the Danish Golf Championship and next week’s British Masters offer them two final chances to impress their way into Luke Donald’s captain’s picks.

Will either help their cause this week? Read on for Danish Golf Championship predictions and picks and see which top online sportsbooks have the best odds for this week’s best DP World Tour bets.

Danish Golf Championship Predictions and Picks

Tournament Winner Prediction and Pick: Kristoffer Reitan

Reitan has had an impressive few months on the DP World Tour and is the highest-ranked DP World Tour regular on the Race to Dubai Rankings, as he sits third behind Rory McIlroy and Tyrrell Hatton. And this is after he started the season by missing six cuts in his first 12 events and finishing in the top 20 only once in that stretch.

Over his last 10 tournaments, the 27-year-old Norwegian has a win at the Soudal Open in Belgium, five top-five finishes, and seven top-20 finishes. Last week, he was in contention at the Nexo Championship in Scotland but faded with a 2-over 74 on Sunday.

Still, he finished tied for third, and even with Wallace and the Hojgaard twins in the Danish Golf Championship field, Reitan should be a top contender this week. This pick also means he’s worth locking in to finish in the top five (+315), top 10 (+160), and top 20 (-115).

Other Danish Golf Championship Picks

Matt Wallace to finish in the top 10 (+175 at BetOnline)

Golfer Matt Wallace, one of the favorites to win the 2025 Danish Golf Championship

Wallace is one of several players likely vying for just one remaining spot in the Europe team, if you are confident that Matt Fitzpatrick’s late surge has locked up his spot in the team.

Wallace might have helped his cause had he fared well enough at the Wyndham Championship to reach the FedEx Cup playoffs, but he at least has this week and next week on the DP World Tour to boost his resume. He has twice as many missed cuts (six) as he does top-20 finishes (three) on the PGA Tour this season, but two of his better results this week came in his last two tournaments, a tie for for third at the 3M Open and a tie for 27th at the Wyndham Championship.

So, that is a potentially positive sign that things are headed in the right direction. It might be too little, too late, as Donald could opt for one of the Hojgaard twins, Thomas Detry, or even Sergio Garcia (yes, he is still around). But those recent results offer some encouragement that this week will be a positive week for the Englishman.

Adrien Saddier to finish in the top 20 (+175 at BetOnline)

Saddier’s recent results have been a bit all over the place, with a win in the Italian Open, two missed cuts, a withdrawal from the Soudal Open, and three finishes outside of the top 40.

But he’s a good value option for the Danish Golf Championship, as the Frenchman has had quite a few highs this season. Including his Italian Open win in June, he has four top-ten finishes and seven top-20 finishes in 17 DP World Tour events this season.

That includes a tie for seventh in the Magical Kenya Open played at Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi, on a course that has a similar profile to the venue for the Danish Golf Championship.

Jacob Skov Olesen to finish in the top 10 (+450 at BetOnline) and top 20 (+185 at BetOnline)

Danish golfer Jacob Skov Olesen

While there’s certainly a case to back one or both of the Hojgaard twins, Neergaard-Petersen, or Norgaard in some way, Olesen is the lone Danish player making an appearance in these picks, as these odds represent exceptional value.

The only thing consistent about Olesen throughout this DP World Tour season is that he has been inconsistent. In 18 events, he has six missed cuts and four other finishes outside of the top 40. In his last 10 events alone, he has three missed cuts and the four other finishes outside of the top 40.

But the DP World Tour rookie also has four top-ten finishes and seven top-20 finishes, and he is coming off of a season-best tie for third in the Nexo Championship. Also, while it was held on a different course last year, it is worth noting that he finished tied for fifth in last year’s Danish Golf Championship while still an amateur (he turned pro last November).

Look for him to have a good week on home soil, and if you are looking for someone outside of the top handful of favorites to pick for the win, he is one of the best options.
