It has been a superb season for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who enter their final three regular-season games with a chance to tie the franchise’s single-season wins record. And with a win vs. the Toronto Argonauts tomorrow night (9:00 p.m. ET, CFL+), the Roughriders will win the West Division title for the first time since 2019 and just the third time since 1976.
The BC Lions (9-7), Calgary Stampeders (8-7), and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (8-7) can all finish with 11 wins and 22 points at most, so a win in any of their final three games will give the Roughriders a long-awaited division title and a West Final at home.
They are heavily favored to check that off their to-do list tomorrow night at Mosaic Stadium, where they are 5-2 this season.
The Argonauts (5-11) were officially eliminated from playoff contention last week with a 47-29 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, so there will be no Grey Cup defense for the Argos, who have suffered through a lost season without sidelined signal-caller Chad Kelly.
This final stretch will also come without Nick Arbuckle, who will miss the last two games after injuring his shoulder in the loss to the Ticats.

Argonauts vs. Roughriders Prediction and Picks
Prediction: Roughriders to win
After winning three East Division titles and two Grey Cups in the last four seasons, this season has been quite the letdown for the Argonauts.
Kelly’s absence has been a big part of that, but the Argonauts have still scored 29 or more points 10 times this season. Unfortunately, they have lost five of those games, including last week’s defeat to the rival Ticats.
That also includes a 39-32 home loss to the Roughriders in Week 3. In that game, the Argonauts tied the game with 23 seconds left with a touchdown and a two-point conversion. They then lost the game in one of the worst ways possible, as Mario Alford returned the ensuing kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
The last four Argonauts vs. Roughriders matchups have been decided by seven or fewer points, but it is not likely that this one will be.
Doege has garnered significant playing time in two games this season, last week’s loss to Hamilton and a Week 16 start against the Alouettes.
In those two games, he has completed 59 of 86 passes (68.6%) for 530 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions. Last week, he was 29 for 47 for 323 yards with two scoring tosses and four picks against the Ticats.
The Riders have not been their best selves as of late, going 3-3 in their last six games with three double-digit losses and three single-digit wins.
However, they should not have a ton of trouble tomorrow night against the Argos, whose best shot at being respectable will miss the last two games.
Argonauts vs. Roughriders Picks
1) Saskatchewan Roughriders Team Total Over 30.5 Points (-119 at Lucky Rebel)
The Roughriders have scored 31+ points four times at home this season and should do so for a fifth time in this matchup vs. the Argonauts.
Trevor Harris is still trying to find his way back to his best self, but he was 27 for 33 for 341 yards in last Friday’s 20-13 win at Ottawa. He has gone five straight games without throwing multiple touchdown passes, but that run should end against Toronto. The Argos are last in the CFL in touchdown passes allowed (30) and several other notable defensive categories.
2) Roughriders First Half -6.5 (-110 at Bovada)
In Saskatchewan’s five home wins this season, they have led at halftime every time. And four of those leads have been by seven or more points.
In the previous Argonauts vs. Roughriders matchup, the Riders allowed the first score of the game but led 17-10 at halftime courtesy of touchdowns by A.J. Ouellete and Dohnte Meyers and a Brett Lauther field goal.
Speaking of Lauther, he will be back for tomorrow night’s game after missing out against the Redblacks due to a back injury. Lauther’s replacement, Campbell Fair missed two extra points against Ottawa.
